# Sound Design & Audio Post Production

Foley, ambience, hyperreal SFX, and finishing — the audio post layer that turns a picture cut into a finished film, ad, or animation.

Sound design lives in two registers at once: realistic (what the world actually sounds like) and dramatic (what the audience needs to feel). A door slam in a thriller is engineered for emotional impact; a door slam in a documentary is engineered for honesty. We work both ways and tell you which we're choosing for each cue.

Foley is recorded at the studio when the scene wants its own footsteps, cloth, and prop layers — anything that needs to sync exactly to picture. Library work covers ambience and the longer effects beds; we curate from Sound Ideas, Soundly, and our own recorded archive so nothing in the final cut is from a free-tier pack everyone else is also using.

Dialogue is cleaned, de-noised where necessary, and pitched into the mix at conversational loudness. Where ADR is needed we coordinate the session and re-cut to lip-sync.

Final delivery is at platform-correct loudness targets and includes splits for the international M&E version so the show can be re-voiced without losing the soundscape.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do you handle ADR (re-recording dialogue)?

Yes. We coordinate the talent, run the session in our voice booth, and re-cut to lip-sync the new takes into the locked picture. Common for noisy on-location shoots or non-Urdu/non-English releases.

### Can you mix for theatrical 5.1 surround?

Yes. We deliver in 2.0 stereo or 5.1 surround. Atmos mixing is on request and coordinated with the dub stage when needed.

### Will I receive a clean dialogue track and a separate effects track?

Yes — every audio-post project ships an M&E (music + effects) version alongside the full mix, so the title can be re-voiced into another language without losing the score or sound design.

### What loudness target do you mix to?

We match the platform: -14 LUFS for streaming (Netflix / Spotify / YouTube), -23 LUFS for broadcast (EBU R128), -27 LUFS for theatrical. The target is set in the brief so the final master plays back correctly without auto-normalisation.
