About
Abu Bakar Zahid is a creative professional, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, music producer, composer, and mix engineer working in the audio industry since 2018. As the founder of Elephant Audio, he has delivered music production, sound design, scoring, jingles, and audio branding solutions for over 100 clients, including projects for Netflix, film productions, advertising campaigns, and digital content creators. Passionate about storytelling through sound, he combines technical expertise with artistic vision to write, produce, and craft impactful musical and audio experiences that connect with audiences.
It all started back in 2012 when I was introduced to an amazing instrument: the guitar. I knew I needed to learn it for my sanity. I formed a band right away called Those Retards — we worked on a few original songs and played a few shows.
A few years later I started producing music and have been working with a lot of new artists since. It's been a joy collaborating across different people and cultures.
One of my biggest projects was San Diego Comic-Con 2019, where I scored a few pieces and voiced a couple of characters for a comic series.
My YouTube channel exists to capture not just my guitar playing, but everything I do — solo and in collaboration. Cheers.
