Elephant Audio(“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the website at https://elephantaudio.pk. This page tells you what information we collect from visitors and clients, why we collect it, and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

1.1 Information you give us directly

Contact form submissions — when you fill out our project brief at /contact, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, and the message you choose to share.
Project correspondence — any emails, WhatsApp messages, or files you send us during a project engagement.

1.2 Information collected automatically

Web analytics — we use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, which collect anonymized page-view and performance data (page URL, country, device class, Core Web Vitals). These services do not use cookies and do not identify individual visitors.
Google Analytics 4 — measures site usage. Only loaded after you grant consent via the cookie banner. Google IP anonymization (anonymize_ip) is enabled, and Google Signals + ad-personalization signals are disabled.
Server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) temporarily logs request IP addresses for security and abuse mitigation. These logs are not used for marketing.

1A. Cookies & Google Consent Mode v2

We use Google Consent Mode v2 to honour your cookie choices in a way that Google’s measurement products can read directly. Before you make a choice, all advertising and analytics storage is set to denied by default — no GA cookies are written.

The first time you visit the site you’ll see a banner with three options:

Accept all — grants analytics, ads, and personalization. Google Analytics begins collecting page views tied to a randomized client ID stored in a first-party cookie.
Reject all— keeps the default deny state. Google still receives cookieless “consent denied” pings used only for aggregated, modeled traffic estimates with no identification.
Customize — toggle each category individually (Necessary / Analytics / Advertising / Personalization).

Your decision is stored in localStorage under the keyea_consent_v1. You can change it any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.

We do not set tracking cookies before consent. We do not use Google Signals, Floodlight, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight, TikTok Pixel, or any other ad-tech retargeting.

2. How we use your information

To respond to your project inquiry within 24 hours.
To deliver, invoice, and support the audio production work you have contracted with us.
To improve the website’s performance and content — using aggregated analytics only.
To comply with applicable laws in Pakistan.

3. What we do NOT do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We do not run third-party advertising trackers (no Google Ads pixels, no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn Insight tag).
We do not use cookies for marketing. The site uses only essential first-party storage required by the framework.

4. Third-party services

We host the website on Vercel and embed video content from YouTube on portfolio pages. These services may collect their own technical data subject to their respective privacy policies.

5. Data retention

We keep contact-form submissions and project correspondence only as long as needed for the active engagement and our tax/accounting obligations under Pakistani law (typically six years). You may request deletion of your data at any time.

6. Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or a US state with comparable laws (California CCPA/CPRA, Virginia VCDPA, Colorado CPA, etc.), you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct or update inaccurate data.
Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
Restrict or object to certain processing.
Withdraw consentat any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer.
Data portability — receive a copy of your data in a machine-readable format.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
