The brief
For most of us, clean water is something we simply reach for. In Thar, it can be a daily struggle. With Dil Se, PTCL & Ufone set out to bring clean, safe water closer to communities where access to it is a constant challenge. In the villages of Thar, the campaign provided essential water supplies and clean-water equipment — bringing not just water, but a sense of ease, dignity, and hope to everyday life.
What we did
For the title track, the lyrics were provided by the director. From there, we composed the music around the words, shaping a melody and arrangement that could carry the emotion of the campaign without overpowering its message. We then brought the composition to life through instrumentation, recording, and production, carefully choosing and playing the instruments to create a sound that felt warm, organic, and rooted in the emotional landscape of the film. Alongside the title track, I also created the original score and sound design, building the sonic world that connected the campaign's visuals and story.
A story about water, hope, and reaching people — told, quite literally, Dil Se.
